We are a family of 5 – Ariel (38), Shiri (36) and Emily (5.5 ), Miley (3) and Naia (Born January 2022) living aboard our 1985 41.9 foot Moody yacht in Tel Aviv Israel. It all started with Ariel buying Sapir in 2013, Shiri came onboard in 2015, Emily joined the crew at the end of 2016, Miley in May of 2019 and Naia January 2022. Our dream is to sail around the world and we would love to take you on the voyage with us as we fulfill our dream.
We believe in the simple way to life – good energies, healthy food, exercise and lots of LOVE and growth.
We intend to live the life that makes us happy and are taking that first step here together with you

Ariel is our captain and anchor. Born and raised most of his life in Jerusalem, Israel (which is no where near the sea) he found his way to the water and got his skippers license after he was out of the Israeli army. He became an iron man in the summer of 2013 in Austria, completed his first crossing of the Atlantic in 2015 just before he met Shiri ans he is our rock and fix-it dad. He is super innovative, creative, has a desire to learn and grow and you can count that if he sets his mind on a goal – he will reach it. The sky is no limit for our captain Ariel.
Shiri is our first mate and mommy. Born in Haifa Israel and raised in South Africa. She has a twin brother and from when they were toddlers her dad used to take the twins sailing for their afternoon nap around Haifa. Shiri has always loved the water and could not have imagined that she would be so lucky to meet her “iron man on shiny Sapir” (instead of the traditional knight on a horse) who would offer her a house on the water that can sail around the world. She is our light, believer and optimist.
Emily is our sunshine girl. Born in Tel Aviv, Israel – she was actually almost born on Sapir. From the day she was born she was a calm, smiling, curious, fun and loving girl. She is full of personality, clever and is now at her terrific twos learning and checking her boundaries. She, like her mom, loves loves the water – swimming in the summer to splashing puddles in the winter. She loves animals and has a caring and generous nature, loves stories and songs especially the wheels of the bus. She is our sweetheart, bubbly special girl.
Miley is our light girl also known by the name of Miley Smiley you can always catch a big SMILE and our baby girl. Born in Tel Aviv, Israel and ever since she joined the crew she has a super special bond and sisterly love with Emily her big sister. Miley loves to be outside, music, playing, on the sandy beach or splashing in the waves. She might be the youngest baby to sail country to country (Israel to Cyprus) when she was only 49 days old. She loves everyone – people and furry friends too. She is our funny girl always knows how to bring the positive vibes into our family – laughing dancing smiling and then repeat.
Naia is our baby girl and third musketeer. Born in Tel Aviv in January 2022. Her big sisters are overly obsessed with her and have nicknamed her “Nuni Panuni”. She is strong, happy and smiling and loves to be around her sisters. Also loves bath time and waiting for the summer to start having some water time in the sea.
